During a multi-million pound commercial construction project, we found that some of our building materials were being stolen, our initial response was to increase the on site security presence and upgrade our CCTV, Unfortunately this did not resolve the problem and we feared it could be staff theft. We employed Maranzano Protective Services to conduct a covert operation. They placed a member of their staff on the build site as a labourer and after a week, not only had they identified the culprit, but had solid video and photographic evidence we could go to the police with.
